OUR MISSION
To provide senior, experienced lawyers to support the delivery of healthcare in Australia.
Health Law Partners is a "new law" firm that exists to provide experienced, senior lawyers and subject matter experts to support the health industry, at affordable rates. We do this through providing both 'traditional' law firm services and cost-effective secondments, tailoring the service to meet the needs of each client.
All of our lawyers have deep industry experience, having worked in-house in healthcare organisations, so they understand your business. Some of them even have clinical qualifications.
We're also increasing collaboration with associates who bring complementary deep subject matter expertise and breadth to our offering. This way we ensure that we stay on top of current developments in fast-moving areas such as Cybersecurity, AI Governance, Clinical Governance and changes in the Victorian and Australian regulatory landscape.

Sometimes clients just need to know that they can ‘phone a friend’ to get some extra assistance when workloads are mounting. Sometimes clients just need the ‘lawyer as a service’ option when they don’t have their own in-house legal team, or when there are skills gaps or capacity shortages. Sometimes clients need to cover leave, or staff absences and sometimes clients just want an extra pair of hands to help with the overflow.
We’re here to meet that need.
The Australian healthcare industry is a highly regulated environment, knowledge of which can take a long time to acquire. Our lawyers have a minimum of 10 years post admission experience, so you can be sure that they won’t spend your time learning on the job. Not only that, our lawyers are also commercial and pragmatic. We understand, at a very deep level, how to help our clients support their strategic objectives.
OUR STORY
I established Health Law Partners in May 2022 with three key objectives:

Support the delivery of healthcare by providing legal services that give healthcare providers what they need at a price they can afford;

Provide flexible, rewarding work opportunities for senior lawyers, many of whom are juggling family and life while trying to remain at the top of their profession; and
-
Pay staff well and support their individual professional journeys.
I'm delighted to say that we're managing to do exactly that. We are proud to count a significant number of Victorian public health services, private hospitals, aged care providers, GP's and Aesthetic clinicians as clients, and our client list is growing rapidly.
